Demo for CLMS

Sunday, April 27th, 2008

I’m asking a packed house three familiar questions:

1. What is a blog?

Online posting of information. More interactive. And no idea… pleading the 5th, on second thought, a blog is a bulletin board.

2. What is the read/write web?

People can respond back to what you posted.

3. What do these technologies mean for you and your students?

You can get a pulse of people reactions… especially for higher level students. If I’m a student can I pose a question to my teacher at 7pm?

Demo for RBUSD

Thursday, April 3rd, 2008

We’ve only got one participant, but I’m still asking these three questions:

  1. What is a blog? A website where you can post information… but what makes blogs different?
  2. What is the read/write web? It’s where you can interact with the website… someone can send a question and I can answer it.
  3. What do these technologies mean for you and your students, teachers, or parents? It’s a dynamic process of exchanging information fairly quickly and easily… assuming people have internet access.
